This site is here to provide information some of the many lakes that are in the Beartooths. We have information on trails, fishing, hiking, and an ever growing community that shares photos and stories. We invite you to look around and hope that the information here is helpful to you.

Dangers:
  Hiking, camping, fishing, and other outdoor activities can be dangerous and could result in injury, getting lost, and even death. Some of the dangers that people must be aware of before attempting to participate in any high mountain activity include but not limited to, getting lost, bad weather including hail, rain, snow, thunder storms, lightning, and heat, being attacked by wild animals including but not limited to bears, moose, wolves, and chipmunks, falling, breaking bones, hypothermia, drowning, and even death.

  We here at Fishing the Beartooths do not want to discourage anyone from going out and enjoying the great outdoors. We just ask that you plan ahead, be safe, and practice the leave no trace behind when visiting some remote locations. If you are a new comer to hiking and camping please consider seeking advise and or training before your trip.

  Although we go through great lengths to ensure that our trip reports are accurate, we are only human and from time to time make mistakes when entering data onto the websites. We appreciate all those who point out our mistakes and help make this website better.
