How to get there: From Roscoe go to East Rosebud. East
Rosebud lake is surrounded by private land with log cabins on
them. Access to East Rosebud lake itself is somewhat limited.
The main road to East Rosebud will end at trail# 15.
The Trail: The trail is a well traveled trail and has lots of
scenery on the way. The trail is a gradual climb but is not bad
at all. At 3 miles into the hike you will arrive at elk lake a
nice spot for a short break. Rimrock lake is about 3 more mile
up the trail. When you about 3/4 of a mile from rimrock lake the
trail gets a little steep and has some sharp switch-backs. One
on top of the switch back you will find Rimrock lake. Go Around
Rimrock lake and up the trail 1 more mile to Rainbow lake. From
rainbow lake take the trail south following the creek. Lake at
Falls is a 2 mile hike from Rainbow.
The Lake: Just up from Rainbow lake is Lake at Falls. This
lake has two falls dumping into it. The lake itself is a medium
sized lake with few spots to camp. There are plenty of spots to
camp though between rainbow and Lake at falls. This is a really
pretty lake and worth the hike.

The Fishing: I really enjoy taking the kids here to go
fishing and the fishing is usually pretty good towards the
inlet. We have never caught anything of significant size but
have caught them one right after another without too much
trouble.
